My kids come home from school most days and they are famished! They can’t wait to raid the refrigerator and find snacks. I have found that it is so important that I have healthy options in my fridge and cabinets, and have some good snack ideas ready to go. Here are some easy, and healthy snack ideas for your kiddos, and for you!

Grapes and cheese stick

Rice cake with almond/peanut ( or an other nut) butter and banana slices

Hummus with veggies

Quesadilla-Whole wheat tortilla with cheese

Popcorn with parmesan cheese and rosemary

Homemade guacamole with veggies and homemade tortilla chips

Whole wheat pretzel sticks with cheese or peanut butter

Pita Pizza-top a whole wheat pita with sauce and cheese and bake until bubbly!

Frozen dark chocolate  covered banana
