We love breakfast sausage! My kids eat it a few times a week. I usually buy turkey sausage which can be a little healthier. If I buy the pre-cooked kind which can be ready quickly before school or early morning activities, I usually buy Applegate Brand. But lately, I have been making my own turkey sausage! Guess what…it is easier then I thought and sooooo delicious! And, my kids love it!! Most importantly, anything we make homemade is devoid of the preservatives and chemicals that otherwise may have been added in the store bought version.
Give it a try…I promise, you won’t be disappointed!

Homemade Turkey Sausage

1 tbsp. fennel seed

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Heat a large fry pan on the stove to medium/high heat. Spray with cooking pray or add a few drops of coconut oil and swirl around the pan. Form turkey into patties, and fry in hot pan, turning after a few minutes. Cook till brown and until patties are cooked through. Enjoy!
