Homemade brownies always used to sound to hard to make AND not so healthy. But these gluten free, grain free, one bowl brownies will make you change your mind! You all know how much I love dark chocolate, and all the health benefits. These brownies are not only good for you, but they are moist and delicious. Naturally sweetened with ripe bananas and maple syrup, you can feel good about indulging. They are healthy enough for breakfast, or a snack or the perfect dessert for any night of the week!
Ingredients:
Wet Ingredients:
3 over ripe bananas, mashed
1/4 cup coconut oil
2 eggs
1 /2 cup almond butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup maple syrup
Dry Ingredients:
1 cup almond flour
1/4 cup cacao powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sea salt
Add ins:
3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease an 8×8 pan with coconut oil. In a large bowl, mix together all wet ingredients. Stir until smooth. Add dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Stir in Chocolate chips and walnuts. Pour into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy!
